under the ownership of John Eyles there were not too many races that Indian Pacific did not win including the 1984 galeswept Sydney Hobart in which 104 yachts retired. In the seven Hobart's this boat has contested she has placed in the top ten five times! Other victories include the Sydney Southport, Sydney Mooloolaba, Hawaii Round the State Race and Hamilton Island Race Week. This year she has been chartered by New Zealand's Mark Walker, who will head a crew of Kiwis competing in their first race.
