The Doug Peterson designed Uptown Girl has been around for a long time and performed well over the years under the guidance of owner Rod Winton, both in inshore and offshore events. Chartered to the Russians in 1989 for their Southern Cross Cup team she finished 1st in the Illingworth Division A, much to the jubilation of the Russians.
