Winner of the Samuel Pepys Trophy in the 1982 Sydney Hobart, this will be the ninth trip south for the 15 year old yacht, Welcsh and Souter have chartered Chaos for the race as their own boat is too small. Both have raced extensively offshore including a couple of Hobart's and the Sydney Southport Race in '91. This will be the first race south for the majority of the crew.
