Winner of the gale swept 1984 Sydney Hobart when owned by Sydney yachtsman John Eyles, this outstanding Farr 40 has not been worse the 9th in three Hobarts. Since being owned in Victoria, Indian Pacific has won to Queenscliff to Grassy ( King Island) Race, and a Queenscliff to Port Fairy race. Skipper Grant Durran is only 18 and will be sailing in his first Hobart race.
