Indian Pacific is a Farr 40 and previous winner of this race, in 1984. A good 8th in last year's races kept up the yachts fine record. New owner Chas Jacobsen has only been sailing two years in IOR with no Hobart experience. The boat has the speed; we hope the crew has the drive.
