Built by Newport Offshore, Zero is a new Frers 51 sloop. She represents Mr Shigetaka Tsumura's first attempt at the international racing circuit. This highly professional Japanese entry is lacking nothing in equipment and experience. Zero is similar to Stan Edwards' Margaret Rintoul III but sports less beam and a little more weight, and she should prove extremely power ful in windward conditions.
