This is the first race for this 38' steel Roberts-Goodson design. Steel yachts are not known for their speed, but their crew has much confidence in their strength when they fall off big waves in the middle of the night, so heavy weather is their forte. Her Tasmanian crew, largely from the Derwent Sailing Squadron, have not done the Hobart before, but all have offshore experience; the navigator is the Assistant Harbour Master for Hobart, so they will know where to find the finish line.
