Profile
Hornet was the prototype for the Duncanson three-quarter ton class designed by Alan Blackburne. Of timber construction, Hornet competed in the 1975 Hobart race when she finished a creditable 11th overall. Now racing out of the RYCT she has little current form to go on but is basically a sound design and could do well particularly in heavy going.
