Brer Fox has an excellent record of racing in Tasmania, where she was the point score winner two years running competing with the RYCT. She also has a very good Hobart race record with the 6th overall in 1975, 6th overall again in 1977, when she was also 1st in Division. A Miller (Lexcen) design, she was built of timber in New Zealand by John Lidgard.
