Acquired by Joe Goddard just prior to the race, this aluminium yacht was launched in December 1974 as Ragamuffin, (the second of three boats to bear the name). Designed by Miller, her early performance was disappointing and modifications were subsequently undertaken to reduce her rating. She has not been ocean racing recently and will be watched with interest.
